Books by Robert Stirling

"The name of the game is to kill the enemy and stay alive yourself"

From his years of combat, intelligence work and training soldiers all over the world Robert has gained not just a great deal of practical experience in staying alive and eliminating the opposition but also a knack for getting the training to stick in the men's minds with interesting stories.

To share this experience with the young men defending our freedoms today Robert has begun writing a series of military books - not dull training manuals but something interesting to read or listen to for everyone from the average new recruit to the Special Forces Operator.

The purpose behind all these books is first and foremost to keep our soldiers alive while they are fighting the enemies of our country by teaching them how not to get shot or blown up. Though there is always an element of chance in combat, there are ways, as Robert shows, to swing the odds in your favour. Only when a soldier can keep himself alive can he be a threat to the enemy.

"Now take the gun off me"

The books then go on to teach the reader how to kill more of the enemy. Some of this comes across as pretty harsh, shocking even; but it is a fact that soldiering is a hard and ruthless game. And these books are not written to pass a liberal TV censor, they are written to show the reader how things really are in combat so they know what to expect.

Robert is well aware that British and other Western soldiers are generally brave, determined, disciplined and well trained but there is always room for more training or, perhaps more importantly, a reminder of Standard Operating Procedures which will stick in a man's mind and keep him alive when the shit hits the fan and an instant life or death decision is needed.

"Train hard, fight easy"

If you, or someone you care about, is going into harms way then these books are required reading.

We are trying to get to a situation where all Rob's books are available in paper from Amazon and in Audio or eBook from ourselves or another suitable supplier. Please be patient while we organise this.

Special Forces: The Ultimate Guide To Survival

How to fight your way out of any military disaster

This book is not fiction

This is not a book about eating bugs and mushrooms. There are plenty of those books around if you want to become a boy scout.

If you are, or want to be, a soldier – particularly a Special Forces soldier – then this is the book you need.

It is about survival in rough conditions – when you have been taken hostage or prisoner of war; when you have crawled out of a downed helicopter behind enemy lines and the enemy are coming for you; or when your mates have been killed in a fire-fight in bandit country.

The reader is taken through a series of military nightmares and taught what they can do to improve their chances of survival using everything from dirty fighting and improvised navigation to stealing food, equipment, aircraft, boats and road vehicles.

SAS: Ultimate Guide To Combat

How to kill terrorists and stay alive

This book is not fiction

"Some people will be shocked at how harshly I teach you to play the game. Parts of this book are about dirty tricks and breaking the rules – some of the rules, some of the time. My reply is that  in war there is no prize for coming second.

I’ve written this book to help you kill the enemy when you get the chance and, most importantly, come back home in one piece. To do that I’ve covered combat training from boot camp up to the level required of a special forces officer."

A thorough, step by step guide to equipment, weapons and tactics for soldiers at all levels.
